Suffolk-based independent gym, Real Bodies, has been built on a passion for creating a welcoming place for everybody to achieve their fitness goals. The club consistently attracts loyal members having transformed and grown the business since opening in 2011.

Real Bodies is always looking to invest in improving the gym for members. And in 2023, it was time to invest in the digital experience.

Time to continue thriving with a boost to revenue

Real Bodies went live with Xplor Gym in November 2023. And with Xplor Gym in place, they now have a gym management solution that lets them get creative and make the most of every opportunity to grow the business.

Everyone aged 18+ who joins on a monthly membership will pay a club enhancement fee that’s used to help us invest in improvements to the club.

By working closely with the team at Xplor Gym, we were able to find a solution that allows us to automatically collect this fee on the anniversary of a member joining. This is a better member experience and makes it easier for us to continue to do better for our members.

So far in 2024, our club enhancement fee has accounted for 9.3% of revenue. That’s a fantastic boost for the club without the effort it used to take to manage.
